Things are a little quiet this weekend due to the Easter holiday. But that’s okay. Hopefully you’ll be eating some good food with family and friends.
Farmers’ Markets. If you need a couple of last minute items – including breads, pastries, cheese, sweets, eggs, spring greens and maybe even local asparagus – check out the Stockton Farmers’ Market, open Friday and Saturday this weekend (not Sunday) or the Doylestown Farmers’ Market. The D’town Market opened for the season last Saturday in all that horrible rain and wind. The Ottsville Farmers’ Market opens for the season next Saturday! To see a list of all Bucks County farmers’ markets and their dates for the 2011 season, see the Bucks County Foodshed Alliance website.
