Once you’ve been with someone for a while, it’s my understanding that priorities shift and you don’t always need to buy each other fancy, expensive items to show each other you care on February 14.

I have enough earrings, but you know what I can’t get enough of? Lobster. No wait, steak. And don’t forget the wine! When you’re a foodie like us, all you really need is your sweetie and a good meal. Now, that’s romance.

Caleb’s American Kitchen will have a three-course, prix fixe menu for $65 per person on Wednesday, February 14. Don’t forget to bring a bottle to share with your sweetie.

The Cock ‘n Bull Restaurant at Peddler’s Village’is hosting a decadence buffet on Saturdays, February 10 and 17 for $38.95, and a champagne brunch on Sundays, February 11 and 18 for $29.95 with a glass of champagne and the meal. More info here.

Fisher’s Tudor House is doing something different—they’ll be hosting a Valentine’s Day Murder Mystery Dinner for $66.99 per person. Dinner includes the interactive show, tax, and a service charge. There is free parking, and the show starts at 7:30 pm. Please arrive by 7 pm. Get tickets in advance here.

Frenchtown Inn in NJ is taking reservations for Valentine’s Day. Seating is from 5 – 8:30 pm. Reservations are recommended so call 908.996.3300.

Golden Pheasant Inn is hosting a Bonne Saint Valentin prix-fixe menu for $85 per person, which includes a four course dinner. The inn is also offering a Valentine’s Day dinner a la carte menu, with items like fresh oysters, poached salmon, OWowCow lavender ice cream, and more. Hamilton’s Grill Room is presenting a special Valentine’s Day Dinner on Wednesday, February 14 for $60 plus tax and gratuity. Treat your special someone to an indulgent meal with a beautiful view of the Delaware River Canal. Call them at 609.397.4343 to get more information.

Karlton Cafe is hosting a Valentine’s Day dinner on Wednesday, February 14 from 5 – 9 pm. It’s BYOB and you can make your reservation by calling 215.538.8353.

Lumberville General Store is hosting two four-course meal events on Friday and Saturday, February 9 – 10, 16 – 17, and Wednesday, February 14. The weekend dinner is $32.50 per person, it’s four courses and seatings are at 6 or 8 pm. The weekday dinner is $42.50 per person, it’s four courses and seatings are at 6 or 8 pm and it includes a bottle of champagne per couple. Call 215.297.9262 for reservations. Also, it’s BYOB!

Martine’s RiverHouse Restaurant will have a four-course prix fixe dinner. Choose from dishes like scallops and pork belly, NY strip steak, a filet “Oscar,” and much more. Martine’s is located at 14 East Ferry Street, New Hope. Make your reservation by calling 215.862.2966.

NaBrasa Brazilian Steakhouse is offering complimentary champagne and chocolate covered strawberries to go along with their usual Valentine’s Day Rodizio dinner, available February 10 through February 14. They have 15 cuts of meat and fish to choose from and a hot and cold salad bar, so this should fit a wide variety of palates. NaBrasa is at 680 North Easton Road in Horsham. Valentine’s Day Winery Specials

  • Alba Vineyard wants you to enjoy two weekends of wine and chocolates. Both events run on February 10 – 11 and February 17 – 18 from 12 – 5 pm. Find more information here.
  • Crossing Vineyards and Winery is hosting “Wine and Chocolate for Lovers” on Sunday, February 11 at 2 pm which will pair wine tasting with handmade chocolates from Pierre’s Chocolates in New Hope. Cost is $35 per person. On Wednesday, February 14 at 7 pm, the winery will host a romantic, five-course gourmet dinner that includes a bottle of wine from the vineyard.   • Rose Bank Winery is hosting a fun afternoon of painting and wine tasting on February 11 from 1 – 4 pm.
