My parents are BIG fans of bring-your-own-bottle (BYOB) restaurants. I also get a lot of folks searching for BYOBs in Bucks County (I can see which search terms have brought people to Bucks County Taste). But I think these little gems are still on the rare side in Bucks, and I’d like to find more. I know some of the places we like – The Summer Kitchen (close to home in Wrightstown), Rick’s (Lambertville), Hamilton’s Grill Room (Lambertville), Rouget (Newtown), Charcoal Steaks n’Things (Yardley), and El Mariachi (Plumsteadville) to name only a few.
So, I’m curious…what’s your favorite BBYOB (Bucks Bring Your Own Bottle)? Leave your comments below or on our Facebook group page. And while you’re at it, what kind of wine do you grab most often? Thanks for your input!
Look for Bucks County Taste on Facebook and Twitter!
Our favorite BYOB’s:
Hamilton Grille Room in Lambertville. NJ
Cafe at Rosemont in Rosemont, NJ
Blue Point Grill in Princeton, NJ
Domani Star, DT
Luberto’s in Dublin, PA
Couple of my favorite BYOB places in Bucks:
Christine’s: http://www.christinesofyardley.com
Carlucci’s Grille: carluccisitaliangrill.com
Indian Garden: http://www.yelp.com/biz/indian-garden-yardley
I often enjoy a bottle of red wine with dinner but honestly I rarely buy the same bottle twice, there are too many to choose from! I usually just take cues from this great wine blog: http://www.wisdom4winos.com.
Thanks!
Keith
Our favorite is Tastebuds in New Hope. Copper Leaf Grill, although new, has been very good the few times we were there.
My Favorite BYOB in Bucks County is definetely Cafe Antonio over on Trenton Ave in Morrisville.
Maize – a new byob restaurant on Walnut Street in Perkasie is terrific – really worth a visit
Villagio’s at Penn’s Purchase across the street from Peddler’s Village has fabulous food and service.
