We’re changing things up a bit here at Bucks County Taste. Our weekday calendar post will come out on Mondays now, and on Thursdays look for our “Things you gotta do in Bucks this weekend” post. So now you don’t have to wait until the weekend to have fun. There’s plenty to do during the week, too! Check out what’s on this week’s menu, below.
Tuesday, June 9: Every Tuesday during the summer is All-You-Can-Eat Crab Legs and Trivia Night at Fran’s Pub in New Hope! They’ve got a great patio perfect for dining outside. Just make sure to wear a bib.
Wednesday, June 10: Attention, fellow foodies! Maria Liberati, author of the award-winning cookbook “The Basic Art of Italian Cooking,” is hosting a Food-Blogging 101 Class three times this month at Bucks County Community College. Wednesday’s class is from 6 to 8 pm.
Thursday, June 11: Fajita-Rita Night is back for the season at Rising Sun Inn in Telford! Chicken, Steak or Shrimp Fajitas and $5 margaritas every Thursday in the bar and on the deck.

Here’s what you’ll find at area farmers’ markets: Arugula, agretti, asparagus, basil, beets, bok choy, broccoli, broccoli rabe, butter oyster mushrooms, carrots, chives, cilantro, dill, escarole, fennel, garlic, garlic scapes, green onions, cut herbs, kale (green + red russian), kohlrabi, leeks, lettuce, mint, mizuna, mushrooms, mustard greens, napa cabbage, nasturtium flowers, new potatoes (new!), oregano, parsley, parsnips, potatoes, radicchio, radishes, ramps, rosemary, rhubarb, sage, scallions, snap peas, spinach, spring onions, spring turnips, strawberries, swiss chard, summer squash (new!), radishes, tatsoi, tender greens, thyme, watercress, zucchini (new!) and more.
Most markets will also have eggs from free-range chickens, grass-fed and pastured meats, preserves, specialty foods, baked goods like breads, cakes, cookies and pastries, cheese and yogurt, cider and juice, sauces locally roasted coffee, and interesting crafts from local artisans.
