Yes! Spring! This week in Bucks and nearby, you’ll find lots to eat. Wine dinners, cooking classes and, even, vegetable gardening (while eating of course).
Enjoy the weather as things warm up to the weekend (yippee!). And if you are dreaming of sitting outside, sipping a drink and gazing at the Delaware River, see our post on 14 Great Waterside Restaurants (including 9 that Zagat missed).
Vegetable Gardening 101
Come join The Yardley Inn for a delightful three-course spring dinner with a glass of wine, plus an informative presentation on Wednesday, April 11 at 7 pm. Learn about vegetable gardening from planning, site considerations, soil, plant nutrition, irrigation, to intensive gardening methods. Many free extensive fact sheets and guides will be available for participants — dinner and the presentation costs $30 per person, plus tax and gratuity. It’s hosted by Annie Milionis, Penn State master gardener. Reserve your spot here.
