6. Christmas Renew & Restore Yoga
Saturday, December 24, 9 -10:30 am, Nourishing Storm Studio & Cafe, 124 N. York Rd., Hatboro, PA
My friend wore a holiday sweater that said “Namaste up and wait for Santa,” and that seems like the perfect thing to wear to this Christmas Eve yoga session. Slow down, breathe and join Megan at the Nourishing Storm Studio in Hatboro. Combined with gentle assists and reiki assists you’ll float right out of class, ready to take on anything, especially the in-laws. Members are free and drop in members cost $20. You can purchase your tickets online. Stop by the cafe itself before or after your yoga session for a fresh smoothie or nourishing beverage.
This yoga studio and cafe is technically in Montgomery County, but what a great idea! Enjoy!
7. Chanukah Celebration: Chinese Food and a Movie
Saturday, December 24, 2016, 7 pm, Chabad Doylestown Jewish Center, 300 E. Swamp Road, Doylestown, PA
It doesn’t happen very often but as some of you may know, Chanukah coincides with Christmas Eve this year. And what do those of the Jewish faith often do on Christmas? Chinese food and a movie, of course (the origin of this “tradition” is that it used to be those were the only businesses open on Christmas Day).
Come celebrate the first night of Chanukah in Doylestown. After lighting the menorah, there will be chinese food and a movie for the kids. Admission is free; food is for purchase. For more information and to RSVP, click here.
